Syensqo routinely conducts circuit profiles to optimize performance and reduce costs. These audits have on-site and off-site components. On-site services include sampling all streams entering and exiting the SX circuit, conducting a full physical profile, and discussing the operation in detail with plant personnel. Off-site, Syensqo services include isotherm preparation and sample analysis of metals and operating parameters (e.g., Cu, Fe, Mn, and Co, along with acidity, surface tension, interfacial tension, viscosity, and total dissolved solids).
A detailed analysis of the plant performance is then prepared with MINCHEM™. The analysis is summarized and discussed with the customer including recommendations to improve efficiency along with other potential project ideas to support plant objectives.
